I bought some items and paid for them but the seller said they didnt receive payment, the payment has been taken from my bank account, and now on my ebay account its says i have to pay again, HELP!!

Buyer who cheats (4 replies) Report )

I am a seller who

1/had to raise a non payment dispute on a seller. He then paid but insisted I work with his courier to deliver an item sold on a collection only basis.

2/I did so but his courier made a very poor job of delivery (failed to collect 3 times - texted me each time that he would arrive and I waited around- and then was slow to deliver between consolidation warehouses).

3/Buyer filed a non delivery claim with paypal but did not bother to contact his courier to find out if the item had been collected or to contact me to complain about non delivery......

4/I therefor had to prove the delivery took place and I escalated the buyers PAYPAL claim..confident of delivery... providing evidence

5/PAYPAL took the view the buyer was in the right and had escalated the claim,ignored my communication. I then obtained and supplier to PAYPAL a log of delivery which the courier very kindly emailed to me but PAYPAL state "I have failed to prove delivery"? I had a parallel delivery /collection going out to a East European buyer (yes I had thought to cancel the transaction) but took the percaution of having a full email log with this buyer. Amazing guy and yes his little amateur courier arrived and gave me a receipt and 2 days later I had an A rating from the buyer. So I send that evidence to to PAYPAL too to show how I carry out transactions.

6/PAYPAL has essentialy ignored the content of my communication. I have asked them to confirm they contacted contacted the courier to establish delivery, which is a 1 minute phone call, but they have ignored the question. They have from me a copy of the buyers signature to the courier, confirming receipt. They also do not apper to have contacted the buyer since I have no evidence the buyer has denied delivery i.e. since initiating the non delivery claim. The buyer is sitting mouth shut and PAYPAL ARE NOT TAKING ANY POSITIVE ACTION TO VERIFY THE CASE.

7/Result is this buyer, "crazycheapprices" has taken from me EBAY item 2505442331182 without payment. PAYPAL HAS DONE NOTHING TO VERIFY DELIVERY OR NON DELIVERY, BUT HAVE REVERSED PAYMENT FROM MY ACCOUNT.


Question: is it worth taking this case further. Can I take legal action without incurring great expense? Is there a higher court/mans of appeal within EBAY that has real people considering fraudulent buyer activity?

I do not understand why we are forced to use paypal and tthey do not followup on transactions properly.

I do not need EBAY any more, I am not a trader.

I feel cheated in the face of all the other buyers who bought my items paid me in advance on trust and cam and collected with a very warm handshake. I sold with integrity and honesty but have been cheated by the very safeguards EBAY and PAYPAL claim to provide.

What has been our experience.

I suggest you never accept collectin by courier. You the buyer need to either stick to collection in person or control the delivery. Do not trust a buyer who collects via courier if you expect PAYPAL to protect your transaction. They do not contact couriers they do nat accpet email evidence from couriers....

"AVERAGE UNIT COST". DO I ENTER THE COST INCLUSIVE OF VAT OR EXCLUDING VAT? (1 replies) Report )

Hi there,

The question title really says it all. In selling manager pro, when entering the "Average Unit Cost", do i need to calculate and add 17.5% VAT into each unit cost before i input the data, or can i just enter the trade price of each item(Not Including the VAT), and have some sort of option to do it automatically.

I wish to sell my items on ebay and allow my customers to purchase from one area. The items I sell are all the same but come in different sizes and shades. I need to be able to offer some sort of drop down box for the size and another for the colour so that the client can purchase practically with two or three clicks. Can this be done please?

Hi, we are looking for the next items of HP desingjet ink cartriges and print heads:

color color nr.

YELLOW c4848a - 2 cartriges and 1 printhead

I listed a car I thought on a no reserve 99p starting price auction, I had actually used buy it now.
Someone has pressed the bin button, it is an obvious mistake and the bidder is refusing to cancel the transaction.
Shall I just relist and not complete or go all the way thru the resolution centre,whatever happens the transaction won't happen because I assume I am correct in thinking that Consumer Law takes precedence over e bay rules?

The item I was trying to sell has been damaged and ebay won't let me end the item because it has less than 12 hours to go.
How can this be. I can't sell a broken item. is there any way tro cancel it even if it means closing my account.

Hi just wondering if anyone can help.....I have upgraded and have subscribed to selling manger pro although it is showing in my account that I have it when i click to sell an item in my ebay and start listing stuff it doesn't give me the option to multi list items is there something i need to click on to allow this option......Please help!!!

TURBO LISTER- Change GTC - 30 days  |  Report )

When we first started ebay for our business we used the GTC duration and after a few months realised that this isnt suitable for us.

We are in the process of wanting to change 1044 GTC listings with TL. Although we have had some great problems with TL we have found a way of bulk changing.

My problem being i can edit 1044 items from GTC to 30 days quite easy but then when we go to update we have to drag the files to inventory and then re-upload. This surely means that it will duplicate and relist every GTC item and then charging a fee again, is this correct???

Would be very greatful is someone has the same problem along the lines or knows if there is another way we can do this?

Hi

I am trying to upload data to SMP and I'm getting the following problem. I have found other posts relating to this but cannot find an answer

I am using the Basic Template (no item specifics) and have managed to upload this successfully. However when I check the upload results I am getting the following error:

1 AddTemplate Failure 37 "Error - Input data for tag is invalid or missing. Please check API documentation.|Item.ShippingDetails|"

However I can't find item shipping details or any documentation for error 37. Also where do I find the API documentation for this?

This is very frustrating - a solution would be very gratefully received

I have bought yesterday 10 x CONSTANCE CARROLL WET & DRY 3in1 MAKE UP -3 SHADES (230415680103#)and two 10 x MAX FACTOR COLOR MAKE UP BASE (390128790968#), i want to buy others itmes so that if possible to send me one invoice that inclode all the items to make only one paiment of all togather so you can send you me all the items to belgium in one delivery.

SMP and using Product Inventory (4 replies) Report )

I have scoured the forum and answer centre without success and there seem to be lost of questions unanswered!

I hope that aomeone would be kind enough to assist.

I have just signed up for SMP and already have around 575 products listed in our eBay shop.

How do I "import" these active products into the Shop Inventory system and then how do I use this to manage stock and re-listings?

Currently all of our listings are on auto - relist and we manage stock levels manually each week but are hoping that this is easier using SMP.

The main problem we have to start with is how to get the existing products for sale into the SMP Inventory?

Any help would be bery much appreciated!!
