Unitl now I haven't had a problem selling and revising my items for sale. However, now, when I sell a new item and try to revise it (if necessary), a messeage appears indicating that it is not my usual computer. As a result I have to click for Ebay to call me back with a four digit security number in order for me to continue. I haven't changed my computer recently and have placed listing using my current computer. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so was it resolved?
I live in the uk and I have sold an item to a buyer in South Africa. I received an email from paypal stating that the buyer has made payment but it will not be credited to my paypal account until a tracking number is sent to prove postage. The buyer said in an email that they wanted it shipped there as it is a gift for a family member. They are a new member of ebay and have no feedback scores so I do not know if this is spoof and I do not want to post something without payment first. Please help!!!!

I have recently completed an auction for a Nokia N97 the seller saidanne won the bid at £770 + £5.00 P&P. I contacted ebay before the end of the auction when I saw the amount rise to this high figure. I was given his email address and then contacted him to find out if it was a legitimate bid. He responded the night before saying that he would pay for the item via Paypal today. This morning I then received an email from supposedly Paypal saying that the item had been paid for but when I checked out my account there were no funds in it. I have rung Paypal who told me to forward the email on to their spoof department. Since then they have emailed me back saying that it was a scam. I want to inform ebay so that they can take appropriate action. If they check the bidding history on this item you will notice a bidder anapurnville whose status is now set to "no longer registered on ebay". The fake bidder is now sending countless emails to my address from a fake paypal address and a fake ebay address as well as his own. Can anyone advice me of what to do?? I once spoke to an ebay representative on a live chat does anyone know how I can do that again as well??? Thanks
I have just recently joined and bought from ebay. A couple of days ago i got a phone call from someone claiming that I had bought something from him through ebay but my card details were incorrect and he wanted my correct details. I had not not bought anything from this "gent" and I am wondering how he knows that I have joined ebay and how he got my telephone number when I am very careful who I give my number to.

I was the winning bidder on an item, but shortly after the bidding closed, i recieved a phone call from the seller, telling me i'd actually lost out to someone else but their bid "didn't go through"...
I bought some ghds from someone which took 16 days to arrive and when they did they where fake so the seller agreed to refund if i sent them back so i did by 1st class royal mail but it was only 2 days later when i came to track them that i realised 1st class means you dont get a tracking number so the reciever doesnt have to sign for them, the seller is now saying he hasnt recieved them and he probably has but if he hasnt had to sign for them he isnt going to admit it so he wont refund,i have filed a claim through paypal but they are asking me for tracking information and i cant give them this all i have is the print out slip from the p.o. the seller is really bad at replying and he didnt reply when i 1st bought them for 8 days then kept saying he had sent them when he hadnt, can anyone offer any advice i dont know what to do about it now ive now paid 71 pound for ghds and 6 pound return pp and i have nothing for it...
