Hi Im new to selling on E-bay so sorry for so many questions. I have 3x330ml bottles of Coke in Limted Edition bottles. What are E-bays rules about shipping drink to UK and possibly America? I may list them on USA e-bay as they have Robert Burns 250th homecoming on the bottles. What are the pitfalls if any listing them on there? Each bottle weighs 600g where can i find out UK and USA shipping costs??
I have several items up and added a note that if someone bought more than 1 item I would offer combined postage.
What i didn't do, was A) think the same person would bid on ALL of them and B) state a maximum of items in the offer.
I have not mentioned how much I would do for and so my question is: I think I know how to deduct some off the invoice but what would be a fair way of doing combined postage so I don't get negative feedback?
to apollomboy 637. i am sorry if you say i given wrong information but as a postal worker can you explain to me why two trackable items was posted through my door yesterday and i did not sign for yet they needed a siganature.can you explain why a recorded item was signed for and down as collected not by me yet when it came to light it was at the local post office.and i have evidence of this happening on a few other occasions so if i have not signed for them and you say postal workers dont then who does.i do not try to give wrong or misleading info its based on what i come across and yes these was ebay items
Hi, I recently sold an item which was actually cost a lot less to post than what was on the winning bid. The buyer is now unhappy in fact fuming what do I do with this? I have tried contacting eBay but not heard anythin back yet.
Hi, Item was listed as free potage and also free when I clicked on "see all details".Description had a detailed photo and a list of the items which I part read as photo was sufficient.I won the item but £12 was added for postage!!!!This was mentioned in the description but I didn't read it as I felt I had double checked on the posal charges.I won't pay what was a hidden charge and which is also an excessive amount.I'm really angry,please help!!
Hi all, I contacted the buyer explaining that I would lose my sellers protection if their account was not registered to the UK, they have since replyed saying that they are registered to the UK, so I lifted the resriction to over sea's delivery. I now receive this reply???
"hi, ebay have advised us to do it this way, we live in malta but we have an address in uk that stuff is sent to, no problems so far, if you dont wish to sell its your loss and will result in bad feedback, check ours its good."

I received a mobile through the post which i paid for with a postal order ( i know!) It was listed as the screen going blank when you talked to someone. When it arrived it did not work at all. The seller said he will only refund me when he gets the phone back in the condition that he sent it. As it is not in the condition that he sent it, and i dont trust him, I dont want to do this in case he keeps the money and the phone. What do I do?
I posted an item 1st class recorded about 2-3 weeks ago. The buyer has emailed me to say they have been away and on their return discovered a card from the postie saying my item was waiting for them to collect from the sorting office. They have missed the collection date and the item is on it's way back to me. I am going away tomorrow for a while, does the item get sent back to me recorded or standard post? If it's recorded no one will be here to sign for it. Where does it go then!! Thanks
i sold a mountain bike on 10-11-2009 the buyer collected and paid for it on 15-11-2009 now he said it has broke and wants to return it how do i stand it was okay when it left my house
I bought an item and paid for it via paypal e-cheque and had confirmation that payment had cleared on the 18th NOV, I messaged seller to ask her when she wuld be posting item but have had no reply, ive now sent her several messages asking whether item has been posted and still no reply. Previous to payment clearing she had been in good contact so i dont know what to do now???
hi i sold a item,number 110450015453,on the 28th oct,posted 1st class,29th oct, i have just had a paypal item not received email,buyer hasn't emailed me to say she hasn't received it,just opened up a paypal case,if she had emailed me i would of refunded her straight away one the 15days were up. my question is,what do i do next as paypal is holding the money and i can't find away to refund her myself. this has never happened to me before,so unsure what to do,is it normal for a buyer to go straight to paypal,surely its easier to email the seller first hope someone can advise me how to sort this thanks michele x
how do i put the buyer collects on the item i am selling it is to heavy to post but every time i put in collection in person it says not valid and put in postage rate. please help thanks.
Hi all again, Following my pervious question, I have had a reply from my bidder, and they say that their acc is registered to the UK. But if it registerd to the uk then they should be able to bid??? How would I go about changing my settings for this item??
I have a buyer who is trying to lower postage through multiple items. I have not stated that I give postage discounts and the courier I choose is Parcelforce. The want me to pack all the items together and send it via their own choice of delivery I have stated I can knock £2 off to send the two togther on the same day but they are not having it?
