ive got a few items for sale at the mo and need to make a few revisions to the listings especially in the titles, and listing categories.
when i press the (revise your item) button it transfers me to the log-in page. once on this page i cannot progress as it just keeps looping??? it doesnt tell me that my password, or log in name are incorrect.
i have made a few alterations using the edit feature but this doesnt help me in the title or classification areas.
please can someone tell me how to navigate past the log-in page so i can make revisions?
I wish to bid and purchase on the American ebay page but every time I try to sign in I get knocked back, How do I sort this problem out, can anyone help.( I would rather hug a tree than fight with this machine)
Hi. I have sold my first three items and I am confused as to the fees. My first bidder paid the correct amount of £13.19 but only showing as £12.54. The second paid correct £25.99 but only showing as £24.91 and the last paid correct £56.99 but only showing as £54.85. I have paid ebay the fees of £8.35 for the listing and the 10% final value fee but unsure why the totals are different. I know it will be something simple but can't get my head around it. Could yo help please. Many thenks
im trying to sign up to be a seller and on the confirm your identity part it says i need to have a landline for an ebay member to ring me which i have not got i only have mobile and they wont let me carry on my registration even though it says i can confirm my identity in another option what shall i do??
Further to my earlier posting regarding how to change the registered email address I have sent 6 emails to customer services over the past 5 days all of which have gone unanswered. Is anyone experiencing the same problem?
Ive just registered and had it confirmed, but when i tried to ask a seller a question it went to another page and asked me for a pin number! what pin number?
I know it's not theoretically possible for a seller to know your maximun bid BUT. I placed a maximun bid of £60 on an item starting at £40. There was then ONE other bid for exactly £60 from bidder 2 who according to ebay has only ever made 1 bid ever on ebay i.e. on this particular item. Of course I ended up paying my maximum bid of £60. This seems to be one hell of a coincidence. Am I right to feell suspicious of tghis bid?
IN ERROR IVE SENT FEEDBACK FOR AN ITEM IVE NOT RECEIVED..NOW IT LOOKS LIKE ITEM ISNT ARRIVING..ALREADY SCANED ALL FEEDBACK WITHDRAWAL PAGES..CAN ANYONE HELP!
Hi I used to get images of items newly listed in my preview pane of outlook Each morning I would get my email alerts telling me what was just listed, and in the preview pane, i could see the listings pictures, so i could decide without loading ebay, if they were worth looking at in more detail For some reason, the last week or so, the preview pane doesn't show images, just highlighted links, so to get a view of what has just been listed, I have to open ebay and look in the catagory Has anyone got any suggestions as to how to solve this? I use Outlook 2003 SP3 I wondered if security settings have changed, I also use AVG and have just upgraded to the new free version 9 Thanks for any help Regards Stuart
On 30 January, 2008 eBay.co.uk team announced that
"From 20th February 2008, we'll be changing the policy (...) so that it will no longer be permissible to add VAT charges to an item after the sale. If you're VAT registered, and therefore must charge VAT on the items you sell, the prices visible to buyers in your listings must be inclusive of VAT."
Does this policy apply to sellers who list on ebay.com or other non-UK eBay sites but who make their listings visible on ebay.co.uk at the same time?
If not, how can an ebay.co.uk user know that s/he is dealing with a non UK listing?
weeks ago i paid for an item on ebay, over a week later received email from seller telling me item wasnt in stock! (so they advertised an item they didnt have instock and took my money!) anyway i posted item not received and eventually got a refund. thot that was the end of it but discover 3 days ago they have brought up and 'item not paid' against me for the same item i got the refund for!! have tried communicating but no answer!! i have 100% record on ebay, how can they do this and how can ebay help? cheers x
The seller advertised item at a price of US $935.00 on a 'buy it now' listing. As it turned out, the stated price was exclusive of VAT. I bought the item and paid the seller the total price via PayPal the total price did not include VAT. The seller accepted the payment but then asked for an additional payment of $140.25 representing VAT. I have explained to the seller that any VAT must be included in the final price and cannot be added after the sale has been completed but the seller still refuses to send the item to me unless I pay VAT. Is there anything I can do to 1) receive my item at the price advertised rather than get a refund; or 2)report the seller's breaching of eBay rules? Many thanks
